Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Many of Indiana University’s campuses have a long history of celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, honoring the contributions of people of Asian descent and the legacy of Asian people in this country. Held in April so IU students can participate (the nationally recognized month is May, when students are on summer break), IU’s campuses kick off the heritage month with festive opening receptions before hosting a wide variety of events. Please view the extensive schedule for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month on the university-wide calendar and take part in the activities!
