Observers on pilgrimage travel to the plains of ’Arafat where they combine their Dhuhr and Asr prayers and make du’a all day. They will also stand facing the Qiblah until sunset, seeking forgiveness for their sins. Without this, the Hajj would be incomplete. Observers who are not on hajj will often spend the day in worship. They will also make du’a, fast, make dhikr, recite the Talbiyah, ask for forgiveness, and sacrifice an extra Qurbani.
Do not schedule important events or activities. Expect that observers will not attend meetings or communicate.
