Shavuot (shuh-voo-owt)
Shavuot marked the wheat harvest in the Old Testament; more importantly, it also marked the revelation of the Ten Commandments to Moses on the top of Mount Sinai. This led to the creation of the Torah, or the Holy Books of Judaism, which led to the Israelites entering a chosen covenant with Yahweh.
