Request Funding from OVPDEMA

Request funds

OVPDEMA supports high-impact projects that foster an inclusive, nurturing environment for diversity on all Indiana University campuses. The highest funding priorities are given to applications that directly address issues related to diversity and inclusion.

While we encourage partnerships with OVPDEMA’s cultural centers and support programs, all funding requests must go through our application process to be considered.

Application guidelines

  • Applications must be received at least 45 days prior to the start of the event or project. Funding requests are reviewed the first week of each month by a committee.
  • Applicants should seek a sponsor from one of OVPDEMA’s centers or programs, or a campus diversity officer, to serve as an advocate for the project.
  • Applicants will be notified via email about the status of the request.
  • Applicants who receive funding must complete and submit a post-evaluation form within five business days after the close of the project. The report should include information on how the program advanced OVPDEMA’s mission and benefited IU students, faculty, and staff, or the community.
  • Events or projects that receive funding will need to recognize the center, unit, or program and OVPDEMA among its co-sponsors, as well as use the OVPDEMA logo.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered for funding.
