Application guidelines

  • Deadline: 25th of each month
  • A committee will review applications submitted by the 25th of the month during the first week of the following month. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
  • Applicants should seek a sponsor from one of OVPDEI’s centers or programs, or a campus diversity officer, to serve as an advocate for the project.
  • Resources are limited; therefore, OVPDEI does not fund an event/project in its entirety.
  • Restrictions: no travel or conference registration fees
  • Applicants will receive notification via email about the status of the request.
  • Events or projects that receive funding will need to recognize the center, unit, or program and OVPDEI among its co-sponsors, as well as use the OVPDEI logo.
  • Applicants who receive funding must complete and submit a post-evaluation form within five business days after the close of the project. The report should include information on how the program advanced OVPDEI’s mission and benefited IU students, faculty, and staff, or the community. If a post-evaluation form is not received, future funding requests may be withheld from consideration.

Post-evaluation

If you have received funding you have within five business days after the close of the project to submit a post-evaluation form.
