Grant Writing Workshop
The purpose of a grant writing workshop is to bring together URM faculty who are working on a grant. We will sometimes invite grant writing professionals to speak to the group about several topics, such as different types of grants, the average amount of time needed to complete a grant application, and interpreting grant reviews and feedback.
The number of grant writing workshops will depend on faculty interest and availability. Faculty will be notified of the timing and dates of these workshops through an email announcement (including the summer) or this site, when possible.
The next Workshop will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Social Science Research Commons (Woodburn Hall 200). All EMPOWER and Faculty-to-Faculty Network Mentoring teams working on grants are welcome to stop by and utilize the facilities. Refreshments will be available.
