Support diversity at IU

Our mission is simple. To bring more diversity—and with it, more ideas, opinions, beliefs, and perspectives—to Indiana University.

Whether you’re helping a first-generation college student pay tuition or supporting an outreach program in your hometown, your gift has an academic, economic, social, and cultural impact on IU, the state of Indiana, the nation, and the world.

As a white gay male counselor, I don’t have any clients who identify the same way. I’ve learned so much about how culture plays into the coming out process.

Cameron Kantner, counseling intern at GLBT Student Support Services

Your gift helps us to:

  • Establish and maintain programs that promote an inclusive, supportive climate across Indiana University’s seven campuses
  • Attract, support, retain, and graduate more first-generation and historically underrepresented students
  • Expand the number of underrepresented students coming to IU through enhancements to our community and school partnerships
  • Assist academic units in recruiting, hiring, and retaining underrepresented faculty and staff
