Indiana University is proud to honor those who demonstrate, in both big and small ways, the vision, spirit and leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on a daily basis with the “2025 Building Bridges Award.”
Now in its sixteenth year, the “Building Bridges Award” recognizes one student and one additional community member (faculty, staff, local organization, etc.) from each IU campus and the School of Medicine.
Nominations for the “2025 Building Bridges Award” are currently taking place and will be accepted until Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024. Recipients will be announced on Monday, January 20, 2025.
A committee of IU representatives on each campus and the School of Medicine will select the awardees. Nominees can be a group or individuals who promote equity, inclusion and respect. Maybe you know someone who demonstrates a passion for empowering others or whose work exemplifies the teachings of Dr. King to create a more diverse, just and equitable world. Perhaps YOU are that person.
Nomination form can be found online. For more information or questions, please contact vpdei@iu.edu.
