Welcome Back
As we enter a new semester, I encourage each of you to use the resources available to their fullest extent. The Academic Support Center offers free virtual tutoring in math and English with highly qualified peer tutors. CAPS offers free virtual counseling sessions for those dealing with increased levels of anxiety or uncertainty. And our excellent faculty and staff continue to do all they can to provide an environment where you can do your best work and feel supported culturally, emotionally, and mentally as well.
Although the COVID-19 vaccine has been made available, we must remain vigilant. If you are on campus, we continue to enforce mask-protocols in public spaces and encourage everyone to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Additionally, we have increased COVID testing to ensure our on-campus students remain as healthy as possible.
For students attending virtual classes, please continue to be safe and adhere to all COVID protocols in your area. Your health and safety is our number one concern.
I hope you all have a great semester!
Warm Regards,
James C. Wimbush
