Student Discount to Indiana University National HIV Conference
Join us for the Indiana University National HIV Conference, Stepping Into the 5th Decade-Evolving Our Response to HIV, from June 8-11, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Presented by Indiana University's Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs, this four-day conference focuses on ending the epidemic and uniting professionals in higher education, nonprofit organizations, biomedical research, health, pharmaceutical companies, and key constituents and consumers engaged in HIV/AIDS prevention, research, and care in conversation and knowledge sharing.
Registration is now open, and the first 100 students will receive a discounted rate of $125.
Bias Incidents
IU's Bias Incident Reporting System and website offer the IU community dedicated space to both learn about and report bias incidents. Cedric Harris, assistant dean for student support and bias education, discusses the importance of why and how to turn in an incident.
Jordan Avenue Extension Renamed for Jazz Legend David Baker
The Indiana University Board of Trustees has approved renaming the university-owned portion of Jordan Avenue in Bloomington between 17th Street and North Fee Lane, commonly known as the Jordan Avenue extension, as David Baker Avenue.
Jordan Avenue to be Renamed in Honor of Eagleson Family
The Indiana University Board of Trustees has approved the renaming of Jordan Avenue from near Law Lane to 17th Street in honor of a prominent Bloomington family in the Black community.
