Apply for the Carrie Parker Taylor Scholarship

The Carrie Parker Taylor Scholarship is named after the first African American woman to enroll at IU. This scholarship awards one high-achieving sophomore, junior, or senior who is a 21st Century, Groups, or Hudson and Holland scholar and demonstrates financial need.

Eligibility

Priority will be given to first-generation college students.

How to apply

In addition to completing an online application, students must submit:

  • FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) for 2016–2017
  • Unofficial student transcript
  • Resume
  • One letter of recommendation from a teacher, advisor, or non-relative.

Apply by March 31
