Other Scholar Programs

All current and admitted students at Indiana University Bloomington may apply for scholarships in One.IU. The Scholarships task in One.IU links to the General Application, which will be used to match you with relevant scholarship opportunities through Indiana University, the IU Foundation, and the IU Alumni Association. Once you complete the General Application, be sure to review all of the resources listed under Other Recommended Opportunities, as these will be the most applicable opportunities for you. Degree-seeking students can complete this application every year.

IU Alumni Association Scholarships

To apply for IU Alumni Association scholarships, complete the IU Scholarship Application in your One.IU account. Visit the IUAA Scholarships instruction page for more information on how to apply. The application is open from Oct. 1–Mar. 10.

Asian Alumni Association Scholarship awarded to undergraduate and graduate students attending any IU campus.

LGBTQ+ Alumni Association Academic Scholarship awarded to students based on any IU campus based upon their academics, career goals, financial need, leadership, community service, and extracurricular activities, with consideration for involvement in activities raising awareness of LGBTQ+ issues.

The LGBTQ+ Alumni Association Emergency Scholarship is for undergraduate students that have been cut off from financial support from family because of the revelation of a sexual orientation or gender identity of which they disapprove. This unique form of funding is available for either the fall or the spring semester, and applications have no deadline.

An LGBTQ+ student can be awarded this scholarship up to two times.

This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students from Central Indiana attending Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.

IU Foundation Scholarships

The IU Foundation annually awards a multitude of donor directed scholarships created by friends of Indiana University who believe in the importance of education and your future as an IU student. You can complete the online application through One.IU, as well as the individual printable applications listed on the IU Foundation website. Only the students who are chosen to receive IU Foundation Scholarships will be notified the first week of June through your IU EMAIL ADDRESS. Don’t forget to check your IU email account and submit all the materials indicated in your notification. All questions, concerns, or comments can be sent to iufschol@iu.edu
