Apply for the Won-Joon Yoon Scholarship
The Won-Joon Yoon Scholarship is administered by Indiana University’s Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs. Scholarship of up to $1,500 will be awarded to students whose academic, professional, and personal accomplishments and goals exhibit tolerance, understanding, and commitment to service.
Eligibility
Applicants may be students from any discipline or department on the Bloomington campus; must be enrolled as full-time students in the Spring 2023 semester and continuing as students in the Fall 2023. US citizenship is not required.
Review criteria
Evaluators will consider academic achievement as well as professional and personal involvement in service organizations and support as indicated by letters of recommendation. All applications will be screened by a selection committee comprised of IU faculty and staff.
Application components
- Unofficial IU transcript in PDF format
- Resume that includes postsecondary institutions, degrees, work, and volunteer experience, and involvement in extracurricular activities
- Two recommendations, at least one from an IU faculty member. (Graduate students will not be considered as faculty members.)
