Gwen McCay Retirement

Congratulations on your retirement Gwen E. McCay

On February 26, 2021, after 25 years of service to Indiana University, Gwen McCay retired. Her service and support have touched many areas of the university to include the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs; IU Human Resources; IU Physical Plant and Architects and Engineering (currently Capital Planning and Facilities); the IU Bloomington Professional Council; and the former IU Office of Women’s Affairs Advisory Board. IU is grateful for Gwen’s many contributions and for the extraordinary number of lives touched through her work at Indiana University.

I first met Gwen when she was a student in my MBA class early in my career. It was wonderful to then reconnect with her when I came to OVPDEMA in 2013. There’s no doubt that Gwen was not only committed to her work in human resources but passionate about it. I am so grateful for Gwen’s many contributions to OVPDEMA and IU, and I wish her well in retirement.
