IU will work to address and improve upon existing university diversity programs and policies concerning faculty, students, staff, administration, procurement, and the IU Police Department.
The University Naming Committee will lead a systematic review of all named buildings and structures across all IU campuses with the goal of possible removal of the names of individuals from buildings whose beliefs are in opposition with IU’s fundamental ideals.

Wayne James, assistant vice president and deputy superintendent for law enforcement operations, diversity, and community engagement, will serve police chiefs on all seven IU campuses, broadening the focus on diversity and inclusion within IUPD and strengthening IUPD's connection to the larger campus community on these issues.
Watson will lead efforts related to the office's anti-racist agenda for all IU campuses. He will also provide strategic direction for supporting a university culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
