Apply for the Bruce Shuck Family Native American Scholarship
The Bruce Shuck Family Native American Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate Native American students who demonstrate financial need.
Each scholarship will be a minimum amount of $200 each and a maximum amount of $400 each, with a maximum of two recipients each year.
The scholarship is renewable.
Eligibility
You do not have to be officially recognized with a tribe to receive this scholarship. However, you will be asked to submit an essay that describes your tribal affiliation and background.
Review criteria
Housed in the Office of Enrollment Management, the scholarship committee is comprised of one First Nations staff member, one NAIS faculty member, and one OEM staff member.
The application opens in February and the scholarship will be awarded in March. The award will display in the student's bursar account in August.
