Description: From the Negro Spiritual to today's current billboard charts, music and the arts have always been part of the Revolutionary movement. Aided by a playlist, this presentation discussed and displayed the songs and works of major periods relating to Black people in the United States; Early-Post Slavery, the Harlem Renaissance, the Civil Rights movement, the Black Arts Movement, the 1980s and the War on Drugs, and, last but not least, the 2000s.
